We have the tools & the skills it takes to make your dreams come true!!  If you are a homeowner & need some woodwork done, be sure to give Rob Swanson a call.  He will come to your house & listen to what you want done & what you expect.  If you aren't sure of the details or even how to communicate what you want, Rob understands you aren't a cabinet maker & has ways around that to help you by going through pictures & having you point out things you like about different styles, types of wood & finishes (Design magazines can be a big help).  He will ask you about all the details that pertain to the project you want to build, then draw it in front of you, make changes where necessary, so we now have a picture of the project just how you want it.  Rob will then take that information back to the shop to price it out.  He will send you a proposal by email, fax or USPS which ever you prefer.  When you have decided on S.C.W. as the cabinet shop for the job simply call Rob & he will get you on the schedule.  A small deposit is collected to get going on the final drawings which are 1" scale, 3 dimensional, very easy to read & understand.  All the details & dimensions are there & the woodwork will look exactly like the picture.  You can pin it up on the wall & have complete confidence of the outcome of the project.  References are located on the home page of this site & drawing examples below (look through the home office photos to your left that match up with these drawings).  Come & enjoy the experience.

Fireplace Mantels :are a place where you display your most treasured items like, family pictures, artifacts, holiday stuff and is usually the main focal point of the room! Apart from being able to design exactly what you want, we are very creative & can suggest things like an electrical outlet in the top to plug in those holiday light-up things so you don't have wires hanging off the side or plan ahead & hide hooks for stockings to hang!  We can build yours out of any wood, any style & any color you want, match any stain & add accents with dry brushing & other forms of faux accents & finishes. Organization & Function:
 
Rob will help you figure out the best placement for your equipment, supplies & files.   Starting with the lower section & where you want to sit & how much room you want, then placing the equipment, supplies & files to your right & left as it functions best for you.  We can add file drawers & regular drawers any size & configuration, lower cabinets behind doors to hide boxes of paper & stuff you want out of the way.We can also provide ways to hide & manage cords, wires, routers & modems. Upper cabinets can be added to accommodate supplies behind closed doors or open shelving for books & decor.

Area:  We can build them into any place you want, Niches, Flat or Curved Walls, Triangle area under Staircases, Around Fireplaces, Corners & Pop up TV's out of floor or Cabinet. We work with radius & angles to accommodate your exact wants & needs.

Equipment:  Rob will look at all the Spec. Sheets for each piece of your equipment to check for size & ventilation requirements.  He will help you figure out the best location for everything & suggest ways to ventilate heat producing items.  Holes drilled or in wall chases for wires to be accommodated will be done as well.  We will work with your Audio/Video professional if you have one to make sure everything is done right.

Media:  Rob will help you figure the best location to store your CD's, DVD's & Tapes.  We can put them in full-extension pull-out drawers, shallow cabinet areas on shelving or vertical pull-outs behind narrow panels & columns.  What ever we do it will be for convenience & maximizing space.
